BCC – Balanced Core Concept - Choosing the right core construction makes a huge amount of difference to rope behaviour. Perfecting this ‘balance’ for our styles has been testing, but the effect is obvious as we deliver a solid, perfectly round rope, which feels great and handles well from day one. DCC - Dura-Core Construction - A “marine finish” lubricant is applied to the core. This changes the way it interacts with the sheath, increasing the dynamic properties of the finished rope as well as significantly aiding longevity. SD - Super Dry Treatment - A wet rope may hold less than 50% of the falls held when dry. Complete immersion of the rope in the hydrophilic, silicone based solution and subsequent heat setting ensures the best possible protection against water absorption. Dry ropes are an important contributor to safety and performance, therefore all Sprint + Super Enduro ropes are offered with as Super Dry treatment making them in effect ‘double dry’. |
