Lisa Rands has done it again...the well reknowned US boulderer has once again proved her mettle on bigger stuff by her recent ascent of the amazing Gaia E8 6C at Black Rocks, Peak District, UK. Lisa pumping it out on the top of Gaia This ascent followed her ascent of Johnny Dawes' classic 'The End of the Affair' last year and makes a second grit E8 and she's still the only woman to climb one E8 - never mind two. A great friend of everyone at Wild Country,and a perrenial visitor with her ex-pat boyfriend Wills Young who introduced her to the grit, Lisa has been using Wild Country cams on all her ascents. Once again this time when she popped by for some gear for Gaia we were happy to oblige and after her ascent she sent us the following exclusive writing and pictures "Hey Martin & Everyone at Wild Country, It was great to see you again in England during my April visit. I want to thank you and Wild Country again for supporting my climbing, and let you know how much I appreciate the gear you have given me! This last trip, as you know, I was able to climb the incredible Gaia, which has been a longtime ambition of mine. Wow, what a line! The start was super-powerful and funky for me, and the finish had an incredible series of tenuous slopers to deal with and was a real mental test.
